There are good guys out there and I’m glad I was able to highlight a few of them in this last installment. But the database we built using AG complaints shows this isn’t a few bad apples but a pervasive pattern. It’s something other states have taken steps to stomp out. Texas hasn't.

Others didn’t realize they were getting loans at all. Like an elderly couple in the Valley. “They created an email address to sell her soul,” their attorney said. The home never got panels installed, yet they owed ~$50,000 to a lender they never heard of.
