It seems so obvious, yet somehow half the nation refuses to see it. I hope for redemption, but I fear they truly embrace the hatred and thrive on the division. All we can do is what we've always done: hold on, fight back, and refuse to break.
I know there are some people on here are that are right-leaning or consider themselves Conservative. I know you think that everyone on the left is "woke" and that Democrats are destroying the country. But I’m asking you to consider that most of us are honestly afraid. We see way too many parallels between what is happening now and the words that are being used by this administration and with pre-WWII Germany. I know you think we are overreacting, but I don't think we are. People are disappearing. Lawful dissenters are being rounded up in broad daylight and being taken to unknown detention centers. Things are honestly very scary right now for everyday citizens, but moreso for our minorities and other already vulnerable Americans. Take a moment to look at the actions of our current government. Imagine if the was Biden's government tanking our stock market. If it was instead Obama pushing this narrative of hate and division. You'd likely be furious at their actions, so why is it okay when this president does it? When our Republican-led administration supports it? I ask that you remember that America is a diverse and beautiful nation that is stronger for our varied experiences and cultures. That standing together is what makes our country great. It's not the hate that is encouraged by our leaders, but the love and support we show one another. Reject this hateful rhetoric and let us come together for a better America.

"if you oppose "DEI," you should have to use the full phrase instead of the letters. Be brave and say, "I oppose diversity, equity, and inclusion." Bonus points is you admit which part of that you don't like. Making it an acronym transforms it into a thought-terminating cliche. From now on, be proud of your opinions, but be specific. Let everyone know if it's diversity you don't like, or if it's equity, or of it's being inclusive."
