One thing I will definatly give Mint, the instructions to actually install it from thier own website are both very easy to access and very simple to understand.

I'd third that, I tried Mint to start with and it is nice, but fedora is just generally better fleshed out and easier to use for me.

It's so wonderful seeing these two out and about again, reading Ozy and Millie every update was always a highlight of the day.

I finally took a proper dive into mint after years of umming and aaing, and I'm kind of shocked with how rock solid it is. Pretty much every windows game i've thrown at it has just, worked.

And you can actually customize the look of your desktop, I've got mine skinned to a cozy winXP look, bliss.
