Also in the case of my last publisher closing suddenly in Nov.... buying the books earlier when they were published proved to be quite helpful - easier to go back through and highlight things I wanted/needed to change before going back to the manuscripts and reuploading them online for relaunch.

lol. I always buy copies of my ebook after they publish so I can go through and highlight all the best quotes for easy accessibility.
