Cis women with higher levels of testosterone, a hormone that all women produce, are being bounced from their sports entirely to punish trans women who are INTENTIONALLY reducing testosterone (among other hormones). None of this makes sense scientifically

oh right. Well 2024 was the set up for what we are going through now. But I feel like a good burning would purify things. May I suggest sage or sweetgrass in the hay mix?

Also I've listened to all of them so much by now, that I can hop back on and know exactly where I am and not be confused. Which is super important for the dreaded 3 am insomnia.

They're the books that made appreciate audiobooks for the first time! Also, it may sound like they are boring, but for months now, they've been my cure to insomnia. Good stories, good reading, no sound atmosphere and engaging -to calm the hamster running in his little wheel in my head.

My daughthers and I consider that a "top of your lungs" song and probably were more than once someone's whammageddon. We also rickrolled inoncent bystanders numerous times, along with other French and English ear worms classics.

Hum... That sounds soooo sarcastic. But that's actually all true, I love when you do that!

I saw it, walked a bit with it. But there was no space in what I saw for a lower intensity participation. It was (and might still be) very big. The manif in the middle of the black Friday shoppers was chef kiss.

As a fellow Canadian still living in Canada, it is spreading fast in our policies as well. Not as dirty, not as ugly, but we are certainly not imune and yes, daily stuff does sometimes feels completely absurd. I should reread Camus to see how we keep going in this. La Peste is probably our best bet.

My mom had what was called the Asian Flu in the late 50s. We don't talk about it as much as it what a lot less lethal, due tu antibiotics to fight surinfections and early vaccines. But there were deaths all the way to Val d'Or for sure (it's remote, and was even more so in the 50s).

Depending of where you live, it's not that far back. I met quite a few people in Niger who had polio and were in their late 40s - early 50s in 2005-2008. I know at least one of those friends died of related health issues after spending his life in locally made, sand adapted wheel chair.
