Monty Python is no longer common in the cultural lexicon. Walked around to classrooms today collecting books and calling out "Bring out your read!" and only one student got it.

Met with the librarians from Mill Creek and Canyon Ridge, we're gonna put together a pretty good year for next year - at least we'd like to think so.

Planning for next year - sat down with the Big List of Days/Weeks/Months to choose what I want to focus on, working out a few reading encouragement events/programs too.

Was looking up at a jet flying through the sky almost right over me making a very defined contrail. My first thought was "wow, neat." Very shortly thereafter it turned to "I hope that isn't a new Boeing..."

Recently found out about the artist Alex Schweder who works with Ward Shelly. Interesting piece in Taipei, Islands, that involved knowledge transfer. Wish there was more I could find on how it worked out in practice.

Just finishing up a collaborative project with our 6th grade humanities class. As a part of their book report we went over basic CAD with TinkerCAD and had them model an item that came from or went with their book and then we printed it out with the 3D printers.

Working on getting the book exchange set up. My middle school will be hosting for all of the elementaries that send students to us as well as our students. Hopefully things turn out well.
