i was very scarce and withdrew from my friend groups and discord after falling ill in 2020! my workplace didn't take covid very seriously, so i was always very exhausted... i went from responding to messages immediately, to responding within 3-5 business days or so.

of course! i'm giving them an opportunity to be found anyway! in general, i want them to know i never forgot about them and that they've impacted me greatly! it would be enough if they saw this post, even if they don't contact me.

the art that they would post were also a little unfinished and aren't traceable to anything! the usernames they've had previously were general and naturally don't trace back to them.

i promise i have! in the time i've known them, we always interacted like there would be more time. they'd talk about their social media or carrds or playlists that were WIPs, but i wouldn't push for them, nor would the friend group.

and though i scoured all the information again that year, i haven't been quite as thorough as this year.

i actually searched several times! early on, my trail went cold when friends didn't know where they were. in 2023, i noticed they logged onto transformice a few months before i checked, but they never logged in again.

they asked if i was angry or annoyed with them. and though i was able to respond days later (how could i ever be angry or annoyed with them!), i didn't follow up in any meaningful way. at some point, they deleted their discord entirely.
