had a little time to start my way through the fade this morning. i'm one of the seemingly rare few who actually loves this section of the game, but i love it when rpgs take the protagonist out of their normal element (the underdark in bgii, the abyss in wotr, commorragh in rogue trader, etc)

started the circle quest in origins tonight, and i still love that sometimes, your companions don't like what you do in this game. it makes the characters feel so much more authentic, and it provides so many interesting chances to roleplay, too. it's the good stuff!

turns out i wasn't quite ready for the main quest in origins. i forgot you could pick up shale relatively early in (and get the helm of honnleath), so i did that for today's little session
i'll probably still stick with alistair as my warrior for this run, but i'm not completely sure
