@theycallmelindsey.bsky.social please excuse my chaos pan, but thr lamb came out amazing. I've never really had lamb before, so excuse me if this is just how it is, but it was extremely tender, but had a beef like quality. Just sauteing in some oil and spiced produced an amazing result

God help me, 5yo is going to start public school next week, so it means that I must meal prep her food again. This week is a practice run. This week's packed breakfast and lunch. I only have the strength to do this once a week, so hopefully she likes the menu.

5yo has completed all her cakes. For once, I understatemented how much I'd need, so we only have enough for everyone to get a little.

I have been accused of hating on 5yo's fashion sense. Calling it "unicorn vomit". This is what she chose to wear on a no uniform day and I guess her fashion sense is growing on me. I thought it looked good.

Cranberry for the main dinner (still have a bunch of containers for other auxiliary dinners) is set. I took a little slice off the top ah man, it's so good.

Mini pecan pies ready to go for Thanksgiving. Here's some on a rack. I didn't buy enough shells, so I'm hoping the rest of the filling keeps until I can get back to the store.

5yo made a chocolate cake for her grandma's birthday today, including the icing. Chocolate everywhere. Somehow chocolate powder flies more than flour. Cake came out great though

Although 4yo loved it, I felt bad that I gave her burnt food. This is take 2 on pizza stuffed crescents. Much better.

This week's #MealPrep is blasphemy practice for Thanksgiving. That bento may not look like much, but it's _a lot_ of calories. I think my family will grudgingly tell me it's good though

I made these pizza stuffed bread sticks for 4yo. I burnt them a little 😭, but they were still tasty. I think this one might go on rotation. They're super easy to make and a good way to sneak some protein into my child.
