Not factual & you haven't offered any proof at all, just unsupported opinion. True facts would require a dynamic exploration of the detailed statistics on effect of taxes, but I know many people who hurt by them who do not fit into your dismissive categories. We will have to agree to disagree.

1/Not factually correct. But you seem to be arguing from a political point of view, so there is little point in this debate. If you were right, Labour would be well ahead in the polls. But inflation, low economic confidence & fear of the next budget , are creating a backlash against labour. (cont)

2/..on those on benefits etc & attacking the funds of those approaching retirement. It has been perceived that the Gov., is picking on vulnerable groups rather than reversing their election promise. The alleged tax on the rich was neither as deep as a well, not as wide as a barn door.

But there is a reality. Starmer's leadership is not inspiring. His economic policies are harsh & uncourageous. His social policies are uninsighfull & his appeal to the working class almost non-existent. That makes him vulnerable to a fall from grace. Such grace as there every was in the first place.

They are all labels-made to enable those opposing liberal policies to invent narratives that suited them. They would rather use labels than openly opposes policies that benefit non-elite Americans, b/c to avoid the backlash from the sheep they want to keep thoroughly penned & dependant.

Of course, Epstein is not a reliable correspondent but it does suggest that he was confident enough in his relations with Trump, to help the Russians manage him. One wonders how far the Russians went in following this advice.
