Conflating machine learning tools with GenAI and LLMs are such a favorite of these bad faith arguments, too. Like, machines studying X-rays to better understand cancer is not the same thing as Open AI swallowing all my books via piracy to regurgitate sentences that sound similar. It's just not.

Bold is the single line I wrote while doing In From the Cold on Nara. This is barely, edited it was entirely meant as an examination of how she'd react. As for the aftermath? Nara has always had memories of the world unsundered, even if she didn't know that's what they were. There's a reason she needed no convincing to turn her back on all of that and take her seat. She's angry, she's jaded, she's *tired*. She wants to go home, even if that home hasn't existed for eons.

There *is* vitriol towards her in my writing. From the perspective of a WoL who feels like she's only ever been used. From a WoL who hates that she wasn't allowed to die. From a WoL who didn't even believe in the goddess she was supposed to be serving and didn't *want* to be serving her.

Bonus: This is part of the reason she is not an acn/smn/sch at *all* in her primary timeline. Though I've been toying with the idea that she might dabble in an AU where she's forced to restart, after a comparison between her clumsy concept matrices and arcanima.

Regardless of which though; a major deviation from canon occurs, in which the Warrior of Light is *gone* from the timeline completely.
