A Seasonal Poem by San

at night, the mountains remember
how the gold thread spirals in the marrow
torn from the moon’s bone throat…

The rest of the poem is on my website .

Dear Death, My Mr. Death a Poem by San
dear death,
my mr. death
.
we’ve done it the hard way, haven’t we?
every shell cracked. fallen shards of excess.

we’ve done it softly. rocking together in my womb.

my dearest death, i love you. i do...

You did not see me.

Or maybe you did.
But you did not stop.

I put the silence
in my pocket.

It stayed there.

Still warm.
Still now.

Nothing happened.
That’s why I remember.

Time folded around it.

And I lived there
for years
in one square inch
of your absence.

Time turned.

Space did not see me.
Or maybe they did.

But continuum did not stop.

I put the silence
in my pocket.

It stayed there.

Still warm.
Still now.

That’s why I remember.

Stars folded around it.

And I lived there
for years
in one square inch

I’ve been working on an updated online mini-course for Afternoon Tea on-and-off for years.
I use to teach and host this wondrous ritual back in the day.

Hope to share it soon.

The last line is kind of silly and it needs work, but it just makes me feel better.

of Its midNights: a poem

autumn carries summer to winter

spring carries winter to summer

and we

we

feel the breeze

the breath

of the stars in each

of its midnights

Happy Spring! A little early. I started drawing this lily of the valley last year. Hope to finish it up in a couple months. It is one of the most beautiful flowers for many reasons.

It has taken two full days to gather all of my poetry into one place, one document.
About 68 pages. I’m so glad that it’s done, so very happy! Next, I will go through and work on editing each one.
