We have a unique yet poorly researched history in this field. Not many know we even made our own computer designs and hardware before the revolution! I work in digital preservation because I find all this fascinating.

Attended the Halloween fursuit outing in Prague yesterday. Back in 2016, it was my first furry event. It's awesome to see how much it's grown since then! I don't know many local furs, but it was fun to meet some familiar faces and to hang out with the birds.

Last weekend, I was at representing @hernihistorie.bsky.social at ByteFest, a Czech meet for 8-bit microcomputer affectionados. And I was working there saving old data from bitrot by digitizing floppies!
