That fact that many art sites that artists have been posting to for years, decades, just to immediately turn to AI content scraping is just pure evil.

If there had been a database from the start that artists could have entered, get paid, and recieve royalties from when thier art is used, it would have been recieved just a little better

There would be less hatred towards Gen AI if they didn't act like they owned everything and blatantly, happily, stole as much of the arts as they could, while gleefully telling every creative they don't own thier work or deserve money for it.

Thinking about it more, it's downright evil that so many art sites that artists have uploaded to for years immediately turned to AI and started harvesting everything uploaded. Just a massive betrayal
