Gender Stories at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery has seen a surge of visitors sharing their sense that we all have more in common than divisive narratives lead us to believe.

The exhibition is on till Sunday 12 October: www.bristolmuseums.org.uk/whats-on/bri...

She is Lolly. She's beautiful and she knows it.

She was touched by Grace Jones when she was a kitten. There was definitely some kind of power transfer.

I made wonderful wild garlic pesto today. I will make it again and again for as long as I can. It's delicious. Fresh.

Last night I made a delicious deal, and as I ate it had a powerful yearning for my mother's water pickle and crispy, flaky paratha ...

She sits among us, pristine. Now, more than ever, who are we?

Lolly judges all.

Humans do better.

Cosmographia is one of my favourite substances, a treasure trove of global stories.

This one's a treat, and features colour photography by Sergey Mikhaylovich Prokudin-Gorsky from pre-revolutionary Russia, capturing a vast, multi ethnic, transcontinental empire: open.substack.com/pub/cosmogra...

For years, I've had to ask for "Earl Grey tea WITHOUT MILK!"

The emphasis has been necessary after too many instances of insipid and destroyed cups of tea.

Today's young people looked appalled at the merest suggestion of milk with Earl Grey.

I feel seen 🙌🏼 😃

Thank you, Gen Z 🙏🏼

Oh, it is so lovely to be by the sea ❤️

After a foggy few days, the wide open vistas by the sea are so invigorating. A milder climate means plants like Ammi, Fuchsia, and Alexander keep growing and flowering. It's like leaping into spring.

Corsham on the Somerset/Wiltshire border is a well-heeled town that hosts Bath Spa University's Arts campus alongside a longstanding estate owned by the Methuen family.

Peacocks from the Methuen estate roam freely through the town, with a determined sense of ownership that's delightful to see ❤️
