Last year I was doing a bunch of these drawings in MSpaint to warm up before I started working, would like to turn these into finished pieces someday 🛸

You honor me with your confidence, my liege. On left, Evergreen the bard playing the lute and singing. He is playing the lute badly so I added little nasty music notes raining down. His description reads: Evergreen: Gentleman of many talents, but completely harmless - don’t even worry about it. Lyrics: How is he to gladly sing that thus is marred in mourning? His death she bring long er his day… but greet her well! That sweet thing, with bright eyes of grey! (This is a reference to a 14th century poem, more details in replies soon) On right, panel 1 Teithi: Oh… A bard? It seems I may have misunder- Panel 2 Rowan (interrupting): GAH! No! Well, yes, but this is all a part of his claver ruse, you see! HE IS EVEN PLAYING POORLY ON PURPOSE TO- (the rest of her dialogue is cut off)
