It fucking breaks this poor angel. He winds up moving out of the hotel and back to the lonely, empty palace because his stbx wife wants to spend more time with Charlie and he's not going to get in the way of that, but he needs space.

The contents of said explosion? That he loves Alastor and wants a divorce.

Which opens an entirely new can of suffering snakes because Al was not ready for the L word. Now he has been pushed to arms length by him on top of disappointing his daughter and breaking things off with his stbx wife (4/?)

Lilith is still being dodgy about what made her leave and cut contact, even though she seems to want to fix things now.

Then there's Lucifer, trying to avoid all of this, and everyone because of the stress. He's bottling things up so hard it eventually makes him flip out. (3/?)

And now she calls back. now she shows up and it rips him to shreds all over again.

Al is fuming because hey! 1. That is his person now! 2. This is a huge disruption.

Charlie wants her parents happy and maybe, possibly, back together and is being a little too pushy about it. (2/?)
