i finally found a solution to crunchy audio popping / desync that my viewers have been reporting, specifically with Firefox audio playback
1. open Firefox and go to about:config
2. search for media.webseech.synth.enabled
3. double click it to set the flag to "false"
4. restart Firefox

if you want to put pressure on Twitch / Amazon, complaining on uservoice isn't enough. Affiliates & Partners can threaten to sever their monetization agreement by submitting a help ticket (click login first). tickets from Partners get routed to a priority queue!
