That’s kind of dumb though. “Let’s invite media on this new train and make them walk to a different car to enter and exit!”. I’m sure it served a purpose but it makes little sense to me.

These trains are so old; they are doing their best, bless them. It’s kind of remarkable that they still work as well as they do considering that they are about 50 years old.

WAYMO is in NYC? Also, what’s the point of having WAYMO if there is going to be a driver. Would you ever use WAYMO? I think it would be neat to try it at least one time…but it would have to be without a driver.

I can pretty much guarantee that the majority of people saying that the subways are not safe are people who aren’t riding it or even people who don’t live in the city.

I would doubt Cuomo even rides the subway and probably would have trouble navigating the system.

I’m starting to wonder if you are considering running for mayor of NYC. If so, I wish you well. It would be kind of a rough road for you but I’d like to see more public transit fans run for the city.

I’m thinking this was just a rhetorical question but would you actually consider running for the mayoral race in NYC? I feel confident you would do better than Adams. You being born in NC could hinder your chances though.

Considering that it’s one of the more “recent” stations, it should be more shinier than most of the other ones. I heard there were plans to expand that line but I don’t know if that will happen in my lifetime.

Yesterday I deactivated my X account and then deleted the app. It just wasn’t the same as it used to be. Hopefully Bluesky will grow more and remain more early Twitter.

One of the reasons of the egg shortage is due to the Bird Flu. Hopefully this health problem will be taken care of soon.
