The cake in the picture is called “Bertolina”. It’s been a traditional delicacy of Crema for ages, but it’s not widely known outside of the city. The filling is made of grape (Clinton variety), so people around here bake this cake only at a specific time of the year, the beginning of autumn.

Today I learnt that hours and minutes in the “new alarm” view of the clock app on iOS are basically just…very, very long lists of numbers?! You can’t keep scrolling forever, they just stop at some point. What? Why?? Is that a message about the “end of time”? Are circular linked lists still a thing??
