I never saw it. I don't see too many movies,we have a farm and don't have the time. My favorite movies are all Italian. Mama Roma, Christo se Fermata a Eboli, Girasole,which takes place in Russia, Cinema Paradiso, etc. if I stop replying, please don't take offense I have to take care of some things

Easier said than done. Support Ukraine for one. Russians have a belief (right or wrong) that they saved European civilization three times (Napolean, WWI and WWII) at great sacrifice and received nothing in return. It fuels a hatred of the west. They see brother Ukraine turning to the west.

There is a lot to unpack here First, pretty much everybody were barbaric invaders long ago. The Russian 'seed' itself is attributed to marauding Scandanavians that conquered the slavic regions that became Russia and the Ukraine. Ukraine had influences from Austria and Poland that Russia did not have

Ukraine had influences from Austria and Poland that Russia did not have
It was a Russian state, but not the only one. It did eventually consolidate power and become the center of Russianness until Peter the Great built St Petersburg after the defeat of the Swedes at Poltova, immortalized by Pushkin (I love Pushkin, but he was a bit of a nationalist!)

Good news for sure, but in my town upstate NY (Franklin) we only had Republicans and Conservatives on the ballot. I did write-ins for all, to no avail. I would also like to point out that you should not underestimate Zorhan. He is electrifying people I know across the country, including upstate NY

Yes and yes. I hate him. Russia has a troubled history, but also a great civilization. We would all be better off if they could figure out how to tap their genius without bringing along their very dark side. Putin is a prince of that darkness.

I have been there and it is 100% ethnic Russian has an ancient classic Russian kremlin and houses magnificent icons by the Russian Andrei Rublev. The present war is a tragic war between brothers, A Cain and Abel story with Russia as Cain and Ukraine as Abel.

I support Ukraine 100% in its conflict with Russia. But to be fair, The relationship between Ukraine and Russia is much more complicated than the examples that have been appearing on bluesky. For starters, Russia was founded in Kiev. Their languages are extremely similar, etc
