Sooo many great blue herons in Corpus Christi!! My favorite bird, next to the tufted puffin! Tilly enjoys seeing them too! Lol

We're camped at an RV Park in Corpus Christi. Love the view out our window. Yesterday we were birdwatching in Port Aransas.

Yesterday we visited Padre Islands National Park, nothing like the sounds and sight of the sea to calm the mind during these horrid times.

I've miss GIFs on BlueSky, so testing this out.

Today we saw this little guy at Mitchell Lake Audobon Center. He was camouflaged so we were lucky to spot him!

I called today. It was easy and I felt like I did something. It was a Republican senator from SD, guessing he's a total trump turd, but my hope is that if he gets enough calls against the evil one, the senator will worry about his own skin in terms of losing voters.

We're in San Antonio. We visited the San Antonio Missions Historical Park. There are 4 missions managed by NPS. Very interesting.

We traded in our 2018 Jeep Wrangler this week for a Ford Maverick XLT hybrid. We had many fun years with Ziggy (Jeep), but Sylvia (Maverick) gets 40 miles to the gallon and drives like a car. Still, we'll miss getting "ducked" (it's a Jeep thing) and waving to other Jeep drivers on the road!

We're having fun in San Antonio right now, but the highlight for a couple of bird needs was seeing tho crested caracaras at the RV Park!
