After 36 years in children’s social work I’ve finally escaped to the Cotswolds with my dog. Glad the Tories have gone and remembering happier times…things will get better!

But no mention of the elephant in the room - Brexit. Rejoining the single market would be a starting point in reversing the damage caused by the Tories botched deal - and provide an immediate boost to the economy.

My friend’s 92 year old mum needs to have a tooth taken out. She has been told she will have to wait 6 months to have it done on the NHS or they can do it sooner for £200 if she goes private. The poor lady is in pain! Something is seriously wrong here…
