Really? This Casemiro? 99th percentile for tackles and blocks.

I agree, as it relates to the "wheelchair grabbers" as you say, but I'm not sure how you're equating this. What do you think the OP should have done?

I mean sure, don't just write everything down for everyone on the off chance that they are deaf, but the alternative in this specific situation seems to be to just allow a person who you believe to be deaf to not have information which they may need.

Unless they were constantly asking if there was an announcement that they missed, how would a deaf person know to ask for you to tell them what it was?

Football Weekly AND Stewart Lee chat, a lovely unexpected treat.

Out of interest, is there any update on the "greatest goals" poster that you were putting together (I do appreciate that this is quite a busy time)?

No one has ever referred to Solly March without his first name.

I might be looking at a different quote, but is this taken from him saying this has been a series that will hopefully push back on the narrative that test cricket is dying? Because if it is, that is a proper stretch. Happy to be corrected though.

So this one was all the bad stuff, and Friday’s will be reasons to be optimistic right?

Right? 🥺

It more or less bounces on the six yard line. He’d have to be Usain Bolt to get out and punch that.

There’s no way he can come for that. I swear every time United concede, pundits and journalists’ first thought is “now how can I make this Onana’s fault”.

Not that it isn’t his fault more often than I’d like.
May 21, 2025 at 7:59 PM
What do you think Onana should have done there?
May 21, 2025 at 7:52 PM
I can't imagine anyone reacting with anything other than a groan five minutes in to hear that "Rio has made it up from pitchside".

Actually you know what, I’d assumed you’d put the two photos together, but it’s just the way they’ve appeared on the site. Fair play, you were probably right when you said we needed to be less sensitive.

I’m not saying it isn’t relevant to you or anyone else how De Gea is doing. I’m saying that him doing well is not relevant to Onana doing badly, or vice versa. They play for different clubs in different leagues. Unless there’s an underlying point I’m missing 🙂
April 10, 2025 at 11:23 PM
Highlighting how badly their current player is doing and how (irrelevently) well their ex-player is doing is probably always likely to result in people offering their opinion. Also I get their frustration, United discourse seems to just be team De Gea or team Onana, as if there is no other option.

People don’t tend to just post pictures of things that are contrasting without intending to make a point Miguel.

You’ve been spending too much time with John Brewin.
