Yes. Teachers pay to go to school. If the need isn’t there (ie dismantling of SPED services) the govt can easily say the degree isn’t necessary much like what they’re doing to nurse’s-calling it not a professional degree

“Special ed stuff” is critical to education. Without it many parents would be trying to educate at home which is nearly impossible. So many jobs would be lost -SPED teachers, paraprofessionals, etc.

This snake, btw, was our therapy snake Cleo in our special ed class for kids with anxiety. She was gentle and soothing to the kids and despite my immense fear of snakes, I warmed up to her quickly.
