Two books that I was not able to put down. Two completely different genres.

Does anyone have a chickpea & lentil (or black bean) sausage recipe that you cook in a steamer they'd like to share?

Not going to get me on a plane anymore. The crashes are one thing, but knowing that we won't be able to trust what we're told about why they crashed brings it to a whole new level.

I've been trying to go vegan for a while. My meat intake has been reduced to about once a month. The hard part has been the rest of it - eggs, milk, cheese, etc. With concern about the CDC and bird flu on the rise, I can now say I've successfully stopped eating any animals or animal products.

Why is it that the same people who complained about losing cashiers at stores and having to scan their own items are perfectly fine with all the Federal Govt layoffs? Those people had jobs that are now not going to be done. Why is eliminating these people okay, but eliminating cashiers is not?

📚First book in The Hatching Series by Ezekiel Boone. Horror thriller about an apocalyptic spider invasion. Not something I would have ever picked up, but it was recommended by a friend. Great book, but it makes sleeping difficult. 🕷️

Don't let them steal your money. Take your money out of the bank it is in and put it in a new account at a new bank that is not in the files that were stolen from the Treasury Dept. Keep the old account open for payments from the Fed, but never ever let them know the new acct#.

When we need to cross the border for fresh food. Many vegetables & fruits from Canada except seed potatoes, tomatoes and bell peppers are allowed. Stone fruit, apples, mangoes, oranges, guavas & sweet limes from Mexico require a permit. Avocados must be peeled, halved, seed removed and packaged.
