Our washing machine decided to give up the ghost. Our replacement was installed this morning. We opted for a top loader this time (we both prefer them) and it's great.. except that I need steps to reach the bottom of the drum to remove the clean clothes! 🤣🤣

Sorry if I've missed anyone's posts or messages. I've been in the UK to close on my house sale & move my kids & all my stuff out. The gear is in storage. The kids, the dog & I are in a holiday let in Whitstable, Kent. We have no closing date for the purchase, so it's vacation time!

Another busy day today.. the pups are still tired.
I have to pack ready for my flight to the UK tomorrow and take down all the Christmas decorations and lights. I usually leave them up until the 12th night, but I won't be back until 17th Jan.

I've been busy organising my post Christmas trip back to the UK (for 3 weeks) and Christmas baking... treacle spiced cookies (baked and ready to ice), mint bark, orange truffles, snowballs (Italian wedding cookies), and chocolate dipped peppermint creams.
