I trust the Republicans completely. I trust they are always operating in bad faith. About everything.

LOL, no. The electorate is nowhere near sophisticated enough to grasp that inside baseball nuance. This will be played as the Democrats caved, and it will be highly de-motivating to a fired up Democratic base who just delivered resounding victories 5 days earlier.

That’s true. But think about how old you’d have to be to remember that. 45 at youngest. The main lasting memory of Trump is one of 2 things: the fictional character created by NBC in The Apprentice, or him saying Mexicans are rapists & Nazis are “very fine people” & every black person being Low IQ.
