This episode is blowing my mind. I thought I knew all the big hits but Huey, The Cars and Billy Ocean too! He should have been inducted to the Rock Hall years ago. Of course, he wouldn’t attend.

I realized recently I had never seen The Rose as an adult. Couldn’t stream it anywhere so I bought the DVD off Amazon .

Another thought, the Ozzy camp never complained about his tribute. They could have easily added to the Lou Graham/Foreigner discussion but chose not to.

I’m well aware of the Rock Hall history. I don’t attend the shows but watch every year and listen to all your podcasts. I just started to wonder when I realized they had been planning BTTB since last summer. Sharon is a shrewd manager who thinks through all options.

About Ozzy not singing at the Rock Hall, I wonder if Sharon chose not to have him perform? It made his Final Performance a much bigger thing because we hadn’t heard him in so long. They were already planning Back to the Beginning at that time.
