The same narratives used to scare AFAB people in the 50s is alive and well in 2025. This conversation was in regards to a young woman scared that she’d lose her boyfriend if she got a breast reduction.

These same men in power barely able to get around themselves are often the same that pose the question “is a mother fit to go back to work after she’s given birth? Isn’t it too hard on her body?” If they decide every morning that their body can work, that person can make the same call 😉

As a secondary note that I don’t feel like is said by white women frequently enough, all women are beautiful and deserving of equal pay, the ability to stay home with their children, the ability to follow their heart.
