I empathize! Our 15 1/2 year old Maltese Pekingese somehow couldn't use his hind legs starting 1-3-25 & had to use a wheelchair for them. He gradually progressed and his still slightly impaired but he can run, jump and climb a few stairs. Thankfully we didn't give up & found helpful options online.
