Well, the gang has begun to show up. Now, if only I could figure out how to rotate the picture.

I had Miss Joplin for a bit today. Took some pictures and caught this gem. I love the 'mean mug' as my kids would say.

I am old enough to remember this bridge like this.

From the way back files. This was Tim Alatorre and me back around summer of 1972. I'm still a dork.

This was in 1978 and that is my family with the Vu family who lived next door. They were Vietnamese refugees and the kindest people you could hope to know. The baby is my daughter, Nicolle, who was a few months old. She's now 47.

The one member of our household who is happy I'm sick. Not only does he get more lap time, but he gets to sleep with me, too. Thank God for a guest room.

Grandma didn't have a recipe box or cookbook. That's not to say she didn't cook well, but she used the skills she had acquired over the years. When we would tell her something she made was good, she'd always say it was because she stuck her finger in it! Who knows, there could be something to that

This is the hell my family is going through. Anybody who wants to say it's lies and fake news needs to come and say it to my face.

Miss Joplin is visiting today. She had a great time playing with the spoon. I'm a lucky grandma

While waiting to find the red fabric I need for another project, I sewed another of my Halloween fabric blocks. See the little spider there, I am going to make another block that will feature him and my grandma's story about him. As you can see, Stanley decided to pay a visit to this block, as well.

There was a horse pasture behind our low-income housing where I lived with my grandparents. When the horses were out, we could watch them out the kitchen window. To the side of our housing was the city cemetery. We would go for walks there, and the neighborhood kids often hung out there.

Well, I have completed another block in the quilt I'm working on. You will be glad to know that Stanley, our black cat, has graciously made an appearance.

I have a terrorist cat named Simba. Trust me, he has earned the nickname of terrorist. He hates almost everyone. But he does have one friend. That would be my son's dog Uno. Simba loves him. Here's proof.

Because I live in the PNW, there are not a lot of sunset pictures to be taken. So, I am sharing a picture of a block I made for my next quilt.
