I think it'd be an interesting way of getting around things being too bloated when comics start crossing over. Plus a yearly behind the scenes drama issue could be funny.

How about a line of comics where each series is their own world/universe, but their inevitable crossover comic reveals that the characters are actors and the main comics are all shows.
