It's the water off the peas
basically us kangz fans need to wrap our heads around the fact that everyone on the roster is available and that includes anyone this team acquires (short of a blue chip prospect via the draft). the act of actually building this team hasn't started and won't until they tear the whole thing down.

next year is already hopeless because no one's taking lavine or derozan's contracts. so yeah maybe deal for something that could be something down the road and if it doesn't pan out, it costs you a play who wasn't going to stay and a bad deal.

this year is a wash and you hope they can snag one of the top 4 prospects - although with the kangz lottery luck, that probably won't happen.

this rebuild is going to take years just to get it fully started. there's too many big contracts with multiple years and only one of them (sabonis) is going to get you anything halfway decent in return. so you gotta hope to find value in the margins while you tear everything down.

best case scenario: hunter bounces back and you can deal him for more than you sent away for him next deadline.
worst case scenario: he's still too hurt and his shooting regression is permanent and his contract expires after next year

BUT - if you know keon is leaving and want to get off as much money off the books as possible, trading for a guy who can bounce back and potentially get some value in return at next year's deadline might not be terrible?

here's the dumbest guy you've ever seen on tv, a writer that's awful on tv who's claim to fame is embedding himself with lebron for the last 25 years, and sometimes a man who's insights are mostly volume related. and they have zero chemistry with each other AND the host assigned to corral them

yeah it's the arch example of and rosetta stone for every final fantasy that came before it, for better or worse. it's how you explain it all!

i remember the exact moment i first saw final fantasy 2 and it is literally why i still play video games to this day over 30 years later

i'm way higher on IV than most because that game is the most important video game to ME but i also understand how not very good that game is

i always apply the tim rogers axiom to it - it's the most final fantasy ever made therefore it's the best final fantasy ever made
