Thank you. It’s hard to even wrap my brain around everything that has happened in the area.

My aunt and uncle will need to find a place that can accommodate a son who is wheelchair bound and can’t be far from his care team. I think they’re feeling pretty raw and heartsick tonight.

I am imagining them loading up their huge handicapped accessible van and all of his equipment as the fire grew, and feeling sick to my stomach. I’m relieved they are safe.

I spent twenty hours last spring and summer unraveling a mess UHC created when they backdate canceled my health coverage for the entire previous year, because allegedly I had other coverage. Imagine that frustration, but it’s your kid’s cancer treatment or transplant they’re denying.

I wish I could bill United Healthcare for the hours that I spent dealing with their careless errors, lack of human decency and penny pinching. They’re despicable. But the man had children, a family, and a community that cared about him and died a horrible death. We should still be able to be decent.

Thanks for the rec. I may get a set for my SEL classroom. I like to change up the fidgets and sensory breaks I offer.

Is it the puffy pink bag/dress combo? My daughter found mine when my mom dropped off my bins of late 80s/early 90s Barbie stuff. There were also leg warmers and a tiny record player in there.

Try an instant pot biryani. My picky eater really likes it. Ministry of Curry has some great recipes. We like it made with chicken, but you can also make it with just veggies.

This is the ‘woke’ that they want to remove from public schools. Snacks for hungry kids, help with hygiene, mental health support for a child in crisis and classroom discussions about working through obstacles. On average, I see 25 different kids each day and check-in with a dozen more.

Sometimes I feel truly terrible remembering that some poor kid has him as their father.

As long as he gets the photo op and sound bytes he needs for right wing media to cheer him on, he’ll consider it a success. Even if very little is actually done.

Thanks for letting me know, so I can place her accordingly. I’ve decided that one of my garden beds is going to be moody next year. Purples, grays and kind of a Wednesday Adams vibe. I think I’ll put her there.

I didn’t, but someone started a rumor that I was.

This is one of my favorite neurospicy brain hacks. Almost always, writing things out instead of letting them continue to swirl around in my brain immediately makes me feel better.

Stuffing my bra in fifth grade.

Mine has done this for at least six months
