I ramble a lot about honkai and genshin!
She/Her, 24. Neurodivergent.
I love Columbina so much and I'm so happy about her personality I can't put into words. I relate *so much* to her. It was heartwarming getting to know her and I'm surely not disappointed at all.

I'm so satisfied with this story.

They are so much longer and packed with emotion. That's what sums Nod-Krai up to me, emotions. It's about self discovery, of course friendship, it's about endurance and self development. About love.

Even though sometimes it felt too redundant and the dialogues were pontless, it was amazing.

Cutscenes are much better, polished and animations are cleaner. The fight scenes have grown so much full of action, choreography and detail. There aren't many, though, but that's common on Genshin — putting narratives instead of a ten sec unnecessary cutscene of a character just walking.

The other characters are very interesting as well, they all have some kind of depth to them differently from other nations where we just got to see their personality only on the surface.

Lauma stands out to me as the best of them, but all characters are easy to fall in love with. They're excellent.

This guy got me thinking he was right with the way he worded his goals. He scared me. Made me feel angry. Pitiful. Hurt.

Most of all he made me think we've never had a true villain in Genshin, not as him, not as well portrayed and *villainous* as he was. Hell, this guy is fucking amazing.

She learnt many things mainly about herself and accepted these truths, didn't crumble under the weight of the world shattering her. She's one of the best written characters Genshin...

... Which takes me to Dottore. He's the *best* villian we've seen in the game, one of the best characters as well.

We've seen many sad stories in Genshin, many emotional ones and all, but none has come to the emotional baggage Nod-Krai showed us.

Everything from the beginning to end was very well thought and written. Columbina's character development left me in awe, as she changed without losing her essence.

See, after Natlan, I wasn't expecting much from Genshin again. It was such a disappointment. It made me rethink my love for this game.

Now, I'm sure I love Genshin as much I did back to 2021.

Differently from the other nations until now, I feel writers weren't *afraid*. Afraid of emotions. Risks.

And lastly traveler *was* the first one to approach her, aside from Arle, Sandrone and Rosalyne, with another view, not wanting to use her for her powers. But as we can see, she is as closer, kind and loveable to them as she is to the traveler, so... It's a her thing. Not waifubait.

She has a complex personality and does evolve into a different, much warmer, open person, without losing herself. I think the waifubait thing is being overused, Columbina imo is simply kind ah oh do people tend to misunderstand kindness for flirting/interest irl.......

And also, most genshin characters are completely one sided, they're either the dumb and happy ones, or the emo quiet others, a few characters actually have a deep personality — easily recognizable at least, without further analysis — and I think Columbina *is* a rather deeper character.
