Wow. As I sent that last post, I realized I'm also sitting with a joyous heart, (ah, the dichotomy of being human) because my book won an award. I can be sad and celebrate at the same time, and so I shall.

This is Yoda, our rescue kitty. He's a bit drooly cause I woke him up just to take pics for y'all. How old do you think Yoda is? For real. They told me he is five, people have been debating that. I renamed him Yoda, because, I mean, look! He's like, "off my lawn you must get."

I am very sick. I am attempting to mend with a strong hot toddy and Yoda the cat by my side while I watch this week's Ahsoka.
