We are worried and angry and so get upset because many Americans like Fallon are treating our annexation as a joke, or an opportunity to muse about another Blue state. And you are right, we aren’t seeing a lot of coverage of people standing up to him. We need to be sceptical of media, and bots.

Oh I realize that. But I think she hoped to disrupt the leadership debates and embarrass the contenders. Also with the equal weight given to every riding it was theoretically possible to capture certain ridings that have few Liberal voters. Fortunately all that was avoided.

There is lots of enmity coming the other way due to disinformation. The Trump administration is trying to persuade Americans that Canada is responsible for the illegal drug trade. And that we lack freedoms and need to be liberated. They are seeding the ground for an invasion to steal our resources.
