My mom died on Fri. I flew across the country. Funeral on Mon. Dad clearly needed help, so I called work on Tue to say I was staying the week. On Wed, the agency that had placed me called to fire me for not being at work. Mgr wouldn’t fire me herself. Agency was horrified and embarrassed
