Blue Jays were consdered the favorite on Pete Alonso, Alex Bregman. Teo Hernandez. Corbin Burnes and Blake Snell among others last year. None of them panned out, don't believe the rumours.

Gee I wonder where he will sign?

They're just making stuff up now.

I think their agents just throw this stuff out there to keep their client's name on every story. I think the Jays are prioritizing Bo over any one else besides pitching. Most likely the three Japanese players will be the first ones signed, they are on 45 day windows. Probably with California teams

Using the Dodgers strategy of deferring most of their contracts
they can and with a likely salary cap coming next year, now's the time

So lowest payroll is the decider? Then take the MVP away from Ohtani and Judge and give it to people making league minimum, Jays were named annonymous and nobodies by mlb but still finished 1st in the AL. Their payroll is tied up in a small handful of players.

Just like the ones about Framber Valdez. The guy who threw right at his catcher because he was angry? Not the type of guy for the Jays clubhouse culture. Imagine if he did that to Kirk, the rest of the team would kill him. lol

He's just back-pedalling because the sponsors of his podcast fear losing Canadian customers. There was no sincerity in that "apology." Just like Michael Kay and the guy who called us low IQ

Same, I remember an Olympic hockey game that Canada lost in a shoot-out, denied a chance at the gold medal they were supposed to win. Canada was Goliath there stacked with Gretzky, Yzerman, Fleury, it was a devastating loss

Agreed, and sounds like Bieber wants to stay. Nick Sandlin should also be back. Tiederman and Macko may be ready and Easton Lucas just needs maybe another new pitch to bring him back.
