Congrats! My gateway drug to your fiction. Still nibbling away at the backlist. Disappointed, though, that the Armstrong Museum didn't have it in their gift shop this summer.

Ohio. People read there. Honest.

Get thee to Curry Hammock State Park for the raptor migration! There used to be an observation tower but a hurricane flattened it. Unsure if it's been rebuilt.

Thank you, Rob... and for initiating today's theme!

The whole series is fabulous. I couldn't find the one before this title as a paperback but did this morning on Bookshop. Looking forward to it!

Yes! Drives me bananas how many people my deceased parents age remain in office. Let alone my age. Especially in Congress. Thrilled at both the results and this shift.

Enjoying the works of @scalzi.com. Happened into them thanks to Space Hipsters on Facebook and learned far more about his humorous approach to the sci-fi genre here. Starter Villain is a good starting point but all have been a delight. Hubby isn't a big reader but he keeps asking for more Scalzi!

Saw a review on that and it looks fascinating. Thanks for confirming!

Agreed. I can't use them myself -- too dangerous. I blew 40 miles past Atlanta on I-75 listening to one decades ago and have been wary of them since. But more than one dear friend incapable of holding the weight for long convinces me they are a must in the market, especially at libraries.

I truly enjoyed that novel.

No, it's just plain magical. Bask in your success in putting those obscure connections together. It's what writers do!
