I found a hard cover version of Through the Looking Glass, at the dollar store. So, of course, I am tearing this book apart, and using some of the text and illustrations to make art card collage. Create art, not division and hatred, people.

I keep thinking I should be doing something creative, but mostly I'm just wintering: making soups, baking bread, walking half hour loops around the house. Tomorrow I WILL clean my work table. I feel a plethora of playing card collage coming on...

The everyday should be as beautiful, quirky, whimsical and unique as possible. Mugs to (perhaps) make you smile. I take my tea with milk and honey...and, possibly a cookie or two.

Just a few, and Santas, too. Elephant wants you to know that she is politically neutral (ignore her red blanket), although she will not tolerate abuse of any living creature, and certainly not a genocide of unarmed civilians, most, of whom are women, elderly and CHILDREN. Also, she never forgets.
