Thanks for the lead! Based on your tip I’d say it’s a black mangrove seed. Red mangrove is more common here, so the black was unusual.

I own two older 8Ds (1960 & an “M”) and love them. Is Cleveland playing 8D or V8D? Are they playing off-the-shelf instruments or custom builds?
