M&M meetings. I know they are important. I know why we have them. But re-living a nightmare case in front of 20 other people who will all tell me what they would have done different/better is just not my idea of a fun afternoon. 😒

Late home from work yesterday. I'm tired, i am cold, it's dark, it's pouring down rain and I am racing home. 200m away from my house I very very narrowly get knocked off my bike by a car that just pulled out of a side street without looking. Not lying....it took a good 10 min for me to stop shaking

Facilitated emergency MRI for a baby. Spent over half an hour trying to get a cannula in. Ended up in the head. Got verbally abuse by the father afterwards for putting it there. How is your day going?

A mastoid is pretty much the most boring thing ever. 5 min anaesthetic time at the beginning and then trying to not fall asleep for the next four hours. Yawn 🥱

One of my better ideas to invest in a small electrical heating blanket. At least this way when they call me out at night I can go back home and snuggle into a nice warm bed.
