I had ACL reconstruction surgery 6mths ago. It's quite a major recovery process but I've had a thorough all-encompassing rehab process. (Far better than hsbnd had for chopping off 3 digits!) & I'm sure it's cos it's so common in rugby & netball that they have perfected it. I did it dancing.

Or created through playing rugby and/or netball?

That's what we thought about them when we saw the papers. The maths teachers FB pages are saying similar things too.

Yes, 1907, and we have the master key (the individual door keys are gone) so we can still lock them all, though don't!

But the bubble is big. And most teachers, nurses, doctors, etc etc, can't stand the whole CoC with a growing and burning fury.

I remember lining up with all the girls age 11 at intermediate. I asked the nurse if I needed it cos I'd caught rubella when I was 2 weeks old, I got out of having the jab! She told me I would need to check my immunity before getting pregnant, I even remembered to follow her advice 20+ yrs later!

Why do they not brief him properly though?!

That's what I was thinking, I've never quite understood what their purpose is and what they do with our $500+ (other than disciplining the baddies).

That's probably correct, the current maths curriculum teaches the maths they will generally need in science the following year. It was all written to support that progression across the subjects.

And it gets more difficult to actually teach, and it's undoubtedly due to poverty, under investment in mental health, lack of support for families, domestic violence, insecure housing situations. It all shows up in our classrooms & we have fewer & fewer resources to spread around.

I love how she brings up teachers' pay at 100k to make it look huge. However, in 1985 the maximum teacher salary was $34156. Using the RBNZ's inflation calculator, NZD $34,156 in 1985 would be worth approximately $187,000 to $201,000 in 2025. Our max now is $103k. We've been taking a hit for 40yrs!
