While on a 9 mile hike at Pinnacles National Park, I came across this baby blue eyes (Nemophila menziesii). It was the only one I saw all day, it's beauty stood out.

Right as I said that we might have to wait all day to see this Great Egret (Ardea alba) catch a fish, it grabbed one

I took advantage of the king tide low of -1.5 for a last minute trip to Moss Beach. I didn't apply any filters to this under water picture. I did put the top of the phone under water to take it.

While visiting Santa Barbara, I saw this beautiful giant fishtail palm. Now that I live in Northern California, I miss seeing palms like this. The redwoods make up for it though.
