To a lot of folks, Trump is the drunk uncle at the dinner table who says crazy, racist and misogynistic things but we "still love Uncle Don!" cause "that's how he just is". They relate to that. That's why they worship him.

That's why they protect him, as they do their drunken uncles.

And I got to wondering after Trump's very incoherent and nonsensical rants on social media over the holiday, his what is it that makes him alluring to the people who vote for him, or the cult like following he has? And then it clicked.

I truly dont care if it sounds harsh anymore. The American people are stupid. Maybe not you and I, but the majority of people who voted in the election passed on the most educated and qualified woman for the single most unqualified man (for the second time).

Stupid people make stupid decisions.
