Yes. I had my original and they made me get a new one. All of the documentation cost me over $300. The marriage license is the most expensive.

Women who took their husbands’ names will have to produce a certified marriage certificate. I went through this when I got my Real ID. I was also told my birth certificate was too old. I’m 72. I wonder how old they thought my BC should be.
