I'm very happy to see that @arstechnica.com is writing about the use of simulation-based inference to enhance analyses at the LHC, but I'm not very impressed with the coverage. It focuses primarily on one student, which makes for a good story, but it's not an accurate account.
The Large Hadron Collider is one of the biggest experiments in history, but it’s also one of the hardest to interpret.
