I always say that. Just pull up to a big university and pay off student debts for like, 3 major courses. You will garner so much love and good faith so fast. It's insane to see how disconnected from the world they truly are.

Something like:
"If you use this impulse more than once in a 10-minute interval, the Tree's HP is halved."
This would make the ability a bit more tactical, since spamming it at focus-spell level is dumb, but using it once that way and then thinking if half hp is worth it might be better.

I don't have a particularly skewed opinion in this regard, I just think, from experience, that that change would likely kill the feat.
A solution I think is worth testing is akin to how Dragon Instinct Barbarians Breath used to work, where the area and the damage used to be halved if you spammed

I don't have a particularly skewed opinion in this regard, I just think, from experience, that that change would likely kill the feat.

In my opinion, while your arguments are good, overflow OR 3-actions, not both. I think both put it out of BiS but sadly put it in "I'm never happy to use this, even if it's good".
